De Vivo, Castro, Cunha e Whitaker Advogados (De Vivo, Castro Advogados) was founded in 1997 and since then has advised and helped its clients achieve their goals, maximize their business opportunities, and understand and control risks.

Our entrepreneurial spirit and the experience gained as clients – a large part of our team worked in multinational companies – qualify us to provide services that truly facilitate and help our clients in their decision-making.

The milestones of our history

A trajectory built on vision, people, and partnership

 

  • 1996 Origin – André De Vivo starts the firm with an entrepreneurial vision and long-term focus.
  • 1997 Construction – First partnership with Fernando Medeiros. Consolidation of the collective project.
  • 1998-2000 Growth – Fernando Whitaker, Savênio Orlandi, and Eduardo Gouveia Gioielli join the firm. Change of headquarters and team formation.
  • 2001 Transformation – Creation of the Career Plan and implementation of a real partnership.
  • 2002-2003 Consolidation – Strengthening of the meritocratic culture and expansion of the partnership.
  • 2006 Strategic Leap – Merger with Gustavo Castro, expanding ambition, governance, and scale. De Vivo, Whitaker e Castro Advogados is born.
  • 2007 Governance – Professional structuring. Gustavo Castro takes over as CEO.
  • 2008 Innovation in Services – Creation of the Secondment area.
  • 2014 Governance & Ethics – Creation of the position of Ombudswoman.
  • 2014 Headquarters moved to current address.
  • 2019 Strategic Expansion – Merger with Cunha e Ricca Advogados.
  • 2019 Rebranding – Adoption of the De Vivo, Castro Advogados brand and new institutional positioning.
  • 2024 Culture & People – Awarded the Great Place to Work (GPTW) seal for the first time.
  • 2026 Launch of the new website
